DIRECTX 11 OR 12 READY OR NOT SOFTWARE
Instead, software uses AFR (Alternate Frame Rendering) to help push the pixels. Let’s be clear – we’re not saying DX11 prevents it – but it doesn’t support it as well as it should. The responsibility instead has fallen on either AMD or Nvidia to do their part with either their CrossFire or SLI technologies, working with developers to implement profiles for games so the hardware can render using multiple GPU’s – including even integrated, weaker GPU’s such as those found in APUs. But until now, DirectX hasn’t had specific features or tools to support multi-GPU setups. As soon as we have more information to share, we will post within this thread and within the News & Announcements forum once this information is made available to us.The history of putting two graphics cards in your systems in hopes of increasing performance is a long one – with 3DFX making the practice rather popular in the late 90’s with their Voodoo 2 graphics cards. We don't yet have an ETA for when the development team will implement the rollback and add in a non blocking alert. You can find the minimum requirements for Far Cry 6 here. Users who are encountering this now are prone to experiencing crashes and other issues that we will not fix, as they are not running on the minimum required hardware(DX12)

DIRECTX 11 OR 12 READY OR NOT UPDATE
We have passed on the feedback and concerns that were shared with us within this thread to the development team, who have reached out to us with an update regarding this requirement: While this is the intended behavior, we recognize that this is not an ideal situation for users who were previously able to play. We'll look to roll this back in the short term, and add a non blocking alert in the future. We'd like to apologise for any inconvenience that have been caused by this, and for any impact it has made on your gaming experience. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us regarding the "Direct3D 12 Feature Level Support" error you've been experiencing when launching Far Cry 6 following the release of Title Update 3. But unfortunately I fear it is someting will have to live with. It's bitter pill to swallow for all of us, especially as GPU are now so expensive. And some Chief Evangelist at Ubisoft decided that now was the moment to stop software support for old hardware. Well, I can only guess that UbiSoft is preparing us gradually for metaverse, AR, VR, etc. Question of course is, why did the TU3 stopped DX11 support. So yes, I will have to buy a new one( but not a 2k 16GBVRAM). And yes, I started to check all graphics cards I have, and found they all have 2014 chips, even those that I bought years later. I also encountered the dreaded Dx12 message which made me think about how hardware is aging more rapidly than myself.

After a long stint as expert witness in software litigation, I'm gradually retiring now and playing, yes you guess it, FarCRy6. I'm old (for some of you I'm very old, I'm 70) but I game since games were invented (Ping-Pong).
DIRECTX 11 OR 12 READY OR NOT PATCH
Sorry, this may seem a weird reply but I fear that the TU3 patch is the shape of things to come in the future.
